SPORT reveals the real reason for Dembele’s travel to England and to watch a match from the stands

Last Wednesday, March 15, Ousmane Dembele was in the stands to watch the Sunderland and Sheffield United match in the English Championship.

The French player, who always had surprising situations, went to England to watch the British Second Division match live.

Well, the reason is that Dembele is a close friend of Sunderland’s owner, Kyril Louis-Dreyfus. It’s because of their friendship that the France international has been seen on several occasions already sharing photos on Instagram about the England team’s results.

In the aforementioned match, the “Black Cats” were unable to obtain the three points when they fell 1-2 to Sheffield, who are second in the competition, thus falling behind by eight points behind the battle for promotion.

Sunderland haven’t had the best years of their existence, far from that, and in fact, secured a place in the English Second Division last season.

The Barcelona winger, who has already reached the final stage of his recovery, is still injured and next weekend will not be able to help his team in the El Clasico match against Real Madrid.
