Barcelona made seven signings last summer: Rafinha, Lewandowski, Casey, Marcos Alonso, Conde, Bellerin and Christensen. Pablo Toure also arrived, although he was already signed up to Barcelona’s reserve team.
Of all, Lewandowski’s performance is clearly the standout, though the essential contribution has been made by both Rafinha and Jules Conde.
Except of Hector Bellerin, the coaching staff and the sports administration are pleased with the work done, although they are, in a special way, very satisfied with the accession of Christensen, who they see as the ideal signing.
The Danish defender arrived very far from Chelsea, and apart from his performance, he was very fit in the coach’s system, and in addition, he integrated perfectly in the dressing room, where he earned the respect of his colleagues thanks to his constant work and smooth professionalism.
He maintains a great relationship with players like Frenkie de Jong and Ter Stegen that goes beyond their presence at Joan Gamper, but praise for his integrity at all levels reaches him from all corners of the dressing room. Christensen has forced them all to respect him.
